Mother of The Bride

  I bet you are thinking this gown is both beautiful and different, right??  Now, how would you feel if your mother or future mother in law was wearing this on your “big day”???

  That’s right…during a bridal appointment this afternoon, the bride’s mother showed me the dress she loves and wants to wear at her daughter’s upcoming wedding.  She wants it in the same color as the picture because she looks “amazing” (haha, in her words) in neutrals and can’t imagine it in the other available colors; fuchsia, mauve, turquoise or white/black.

  When she left the room, the bride told me that she has had that dress picked out since she told her she was engaged.  She also told me that she hates it and doesn’t want her mother to wear that on her wedding day, but will keep her opinions to herself since her mother is signing the checks for the entire wedding. 

  How sad.
